In many countries, there are significant differences between the duty rates of finished products and CKD / SKD components. This is usually done by the governments, to support the growth of their local industry.

By importing our products in CKD or SKD form and performing the final assembly locally, many of our OEM distributors are having a very competitive edge against other importers in their countries. We can provide our products in any CKD or SKD form as required by the OEM customer, by varying the level of assembly to meet the customs regulations to qualify for reduced duty.

We can also delete any part from the component list, if that part is  preferred to be supplied through the local sources, for the purpose of qualifying the final product as a locally manufactured product.
